During the lockdown, many people are suffering from the income source. A sudden calamity caused us to think for the alternate source of income to fulfill our basic needs. People from various age groups now want to work online as there is left no other option besides work at home.
There are more than thousands of websites that advertise for an easy online job. But it still the confusion remains the midst of people's minds that are these websites really give them jobs or work.
I have researched practically on some websites and here I am giving their information with the pros and cons of the top five websites. It may help to save time which generally gets waste in registration and signup.
1. Freelancer.com
It is an Australian online crowdsourcing marketing website, which allows a freelancer to work on any project (depending on their skills and qualification) which the employers post. It’s a dual-path platform that benefits both employer and freelancer. The website offers a wide range of potential work opportunities, such as copywriting projects, translation, web development, web design, and much more.
Pros

b) Signup is easy and free.
c) Withdrawal is easy and has multiple modes of payment (Express Withdrawal, Wire, or Online account PayPal or Skrill.
d) Countless and different kinds of projects.
e) The messages in the employer-freelancer chat are instant, which is truly convenient.
Cons
a) Bidding and feedback decide the chances of getting a project.
b) You need to purchase the bids to maximize your earning chances. It costs 10$ for 100 bids. That is somehow costly for an average person.
c) Free registration only gives 10 bids.
d) The rating of the freelancer is also influenced by bidding.
e) Competition is too high.
2. Upwork
It was formerly known as Elance-oDesk. Upwork is also another freelancing
the site where business and independent professionals connect and collaborate
remotely.
Pros
a) It has stable functionalities, mobile support, and secured payments.
b) The platform supports both text and video communications.
c) They can also select payment methods like Payoneer, Paypal, wire transfer, and so on.
d) Upwork also recently added a “top-rated” feature that puts a badge on some freelancer profiles.
Cons
a) Upwork is also not completely free.
b) Many jobs show a preference for single freelancers instead of companies.
c) Upwork now takes 10 percent of freelancer earnings, up from 8.5 percent.
d) They can evaluate someone when they have so much variance in the range of pricing. So I would suggest that, don’t put all your eggs in a single basket.
3. Fiverr
Fiverr is a freelance service. It was founded in 2010 and based in Israel. This company enables its customers to find online jobs and hire a freelancer. Fiverr also allow posting gigs to its users. Gigs can be understood as a short ad that promotes the user’s for getting a project. It is one of the most famous online platforms for freelancers.
Pros
a) You can work on many projects at a time.
b) This website is easy to navigate.
c) You can make extra money and a decent amount of income.
d) You can also, get a tip from the employer if your work quality
Cons
a) Fiverr cuts 20% commission on each transaction.
b) It doesn't allow users to contact outside of Fiverr.
c) You may not get the desired result from the gig as it is shown.
4. Voice123
Voice123 is another online job platform for job seekers. As the name suggests, this website is for any voice actor. If any person has a good voice he/she can try this website. It has a multi-language voice actor's requirements. The signup is free for the public. Those who are willing to try their voice talent can signup for free and later can upgrade with premium services.

Cons

b) In the free plan, you will only get four project invitation and three search appearance.

It is a UK based company and an online platform for the freelancer. Just like freelancer.com, Upwork, etc people per hour also offer almost the same service. It is ideal for both enterprise human resource and small businesses globally. This site conducts an assessment of talents before anyone could register. It’s like shortlist the candidates based on their talents and requirements.
Pros
a) It has a large number of users registered especially from the UK.
b) Flexible users can get a large amount of work.
c) You can also set your rates for work but it should be favorable.
d) It asks clients to deposit some amount on people per hour, so in this aspect, it gives freelancers some degree of financial security.
e) Registration is free and few services are also free to use.
Cons
a) People per hour charge some fees like service fees, withdrawal fees, Fastrack fees, inactive user account fees.
b) You compete in a huge number of freelancers all around the world.
c) There is no guarantee of work. It happens that you may not get any work even after sending many proposals. Because if you bid on a project with your rate it might be possible that on other sites people bid with a lesser amount.
